Job summary

Bellefaire JCB seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time day shift alternating holidays and weekends to provide holistic nursing care to clients in the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF).

The LPN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and support treatment planning while maintaining professional standards and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
Valid Ohio LPN license.
Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgement.
Demonstrates cultural competence and professional communication.
Experience with pediatric autism or special needs preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist providers and health care professionals with examinations, treatments and procedures.
Obtain health history, labs, and vital signs within scope.
Administer medications and document as ordered.
Submit reports to the provider as requested.
Educate clients and staff about medications and health needs.
Coordinate client transfers to outside health care providers or facilities.
Maintain supplies and equipment and ensure proper storage.
Attend trainings and maintain required licensure.
