Job summary

Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide compassionate care to children and adolescents. The LPN reports to the Nurse Manager, RN House Supervisor, or RN Charge Nurse and will perform nursing duties using established protocols to ensure quality patient care on the units.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited School of Nursing, current AL LPN/LVN licensure, CPR certification, and ideally one year of psychiatric nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensed Practical Nurse in Alabama.
• One year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Directly report to Nurse Manager, RN House Supervisor, or RN Charge Nurse for quality care.
