Job summary

Bellefaire JCB is seeking a Registered Nurse for the second shift to administer and supervise medication administration and participate in the health-care plan for clients in residential treatment units and related programs.

You will respond to health needs, make referrals and assessments, and work with pediatricians as needed within the Health Clinic setting. Nursing licensure and pediatric care experience required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Licensure: Valid Ohio registered Nurse license.
• Experience:Experience working with children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Administer and supervise the administration of medication to clients in residential treatment units and programs.
• Participate in the plan of care for Bellefaire JCB clients.
• Make rounds and attend to health care needs of clients.
• Conduct physical assessments and document findings in the client’s record.
• Refer to pediatrician after screening clients.
• Assist pediatrician with examinations in Health Clinic.
• Educate clients and staff about health care topics and medications.
• Maintain and document hours in the time log system.
