Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience in Bardstown, KY is seeking a Full Time Line Cook for Five Brothers Kitchen. The role supports all kitchen functions, ensures quality standards, and maintains sanitation and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Typical shift is 9:00am to 5:30pm with some weekends; candidates should have at least 3 years of varied kitchen experience, the ability to obtain Serv Safe certification, and reliable transportation to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of varied kitchen experience including line cook, fry cook, expediter.
• Ability to obtain Serv Safe Certification.
• Clear communication with managers and kitchen staff.
• Able to stand for long periods and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food per recipes, portioning, and standards.
• Fill in as needed to ensure guest service and efficient operations.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Work with kitchen managers to meet portion sizes and recipes.
• Monitor food cost through correct recipes, storage, and waste control.
• Follow all kitchen policies and sanitation protocols.
• Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation regulations.

This role is onsite at Five Brothers Kitchen at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience based in Bardstown, KY. Standard first shift schedule is 9:00am - 5:30pm (including some weekends).

What the Role Is

Line Cooks are responsible for participating in all kitchen functions, preparation, and maintenance of quality standards, sanitation, and cleanliness at the Five Brothers Kitchen.

How You Will Spend Your Time?

• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served per the restaurant’s re cipes, portioning, cooking,and serving standards
• Fill in where needed to ensureguest service standards and efficient operations
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs
• Work withthekitchen managersto meetand deliver correctportionsizes andrecipes
• Ensurefood cost is met bymeetingcorrect recipes, storage,and waste control procedures
• Follow all restaurant policies andkitchenproceduresput forth by Kitchen Managers
• Adhere to restaurant and company rules, policies, and procedures
• Adhere to safe operationstandards for allkitchen equipment and utensils
• Followall cleaning and sanitation schedules
• Check andmaintainproper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points
• Adhere to allState and Federal guidelines forfood safety and sanitation regulations

Who You Are…

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook ,and expediter required
• Ability to obtain Person in Charge or Serv Safe Certification
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers,kitchenpersonnel,and dining room personnel
• Be able to work in a standing position forlongperiods
• Reliable Transportation
