Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL. You will safeguard clients across industries, conduct patrols, support access control, and deliver excellent customer service.

A valid driver’s license and a clean background are required; CPR/First Aid and guard-card credentials are a plus. The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour and a daytime evening schedule.

Qualifications

Six months of security-related experience preferred.
A valid driver’s license is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
Access control and badge experience are preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background investigation required by law.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols in retail areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter.
Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner per site procedures.
Monitor access points and deter unauthorized entry, theft, or disruptive behavior.
Document patrols and incidents and communicate findings to site management and leadership.
