Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, devising tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
  • Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities that align with evidence-based practices.
  • Deliver education to patients and their caregivers to promote understanding of the rehabilitation process and foster compliance with treatment recommendations.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to maximize recovery and functional outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will encompass a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related issues. This opportunity allows you to employ a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques while effectively addressing each patient's unique circumstances and recovery goals.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is essential; candidates with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) will be preferred.
  • Active state licensure in New Jersey to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or comparable organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, complemented by the ability to foster collaborative relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally within a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits
