Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical abilities and designing personalized treatment plans based on their unique needs.
• Implement and adjust treatment programs for diverse patient populations including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Deliver excellent customer service while contributing to patient satisfaction and engagement in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes using evidence-based care methods.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions at patient homes, employing techniques that align with physician's directives to improve their condition and functionality.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Meet and exceed established goals for utilization and performance metrics, actively participating in the clinic's business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse range of patients, focusing on both acute and chronic conditions across different age groups. Our clients are typically referred due to sports injuries, postoperative conditions, developmental issues, or neurological impairments. This role is crucial in facilitating rehabilitation, enhancing mobility, and fostering independence for our patients, ultimately helping them achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a preference for candidates holding a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to articulate treatment plans and foster patient relationships.
• Proficient in computer skills including word processing and data entry to maintain accurate patient records.
• Ability to establish and nurture strong relationships with patients that inspire and motivate them to reach their goals.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a physical therapist in a rehabilitation setting.
• Experience treating a variety of specialties including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
