You will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with an expectation of 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust therapeutic interventions for a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Deliver high-quality care in line with evidence-based practices, leveraging therapeutic modalities and techniques to achieve patient goals.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation processes, empowering them with knowledge and resources to support their progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes through regular communication and care coordination.
• Monitor and document patient progress, meeting utilization benchmarks and contributing to the overall business objectives of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with patients from various backgrounds, emphasizing a personalized approach that recognizes each individual's unique challenges and recovery goals. Whether working with children recovering from sports injuries, adults seeking relief from chronic pain, or elderly patients rehabilitating post-surgery, your expertise will be crucial in how effectively they regain health and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• A current Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with both patients and team members.
• Proficient computer skills with familiarity in documenting patient progress electronically.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating progressive responsibility in patient care.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including children and older adults.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies and patient-centered care models.
