Job summary

The Burton Public Library seeks a motivated, service-oriented individual to work as our Home Services Supervisor. The role coordinates the delivery of library materials to homebound patrons, Amish families, and schools, serving about 115 patrons and 9 Amish schools. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous library experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet criteria for insurability under the library’s policy.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the delivery of library materials to homebound patrons, Amish families and/or schools and other appropriate institutions.
• The Home Services Supervisor trains and supervises departmental staff.
