Qualifications

• Proficient in English language.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Able to follow safety policies, procedures and practices.
• Must successfully complete laundry operations training within six months of employment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull heavy carts; regular attendance required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and comply with required training.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines, dryers, marking machines and presses.
• Weigh, shake and sort soiled linen daily; maintain cleanliness of carts.
• Disinfect laundry carts daily and keep work area organized.
• Assist in training new staff in operating laundry equipment.
• Deliver washed materials to ancillary departments and assist as needed.
