Virginia Military Institute seeks a full-time Laundry Worker for a 10-month assignment. You will sort, fold, iron, pack, and operate laundry and dry cleaning equipment to keep uniforms and linens ready for use.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform manual labor and follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of laundry and dry cleaning practices is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and fold laundry items from dryers and identify with tags.
• Iron white trousers and shirts.
• Pack finished items.
• Press wool uniform items.
• Operate and inspect dry cleaning machines and presses.
• Fill in where needed in laundry and dry cleaning operations.
