Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a Lab Support Technician (LST I) to join the provider care team. This role supports reports, data, and scheduling for the laboratory while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring accurate specimen collection and handling.

The LST I must comply with HIPAA, perform duties with professionalism, and participate in departmental checklists to achieve competency. Full-time hours are listed with day shift schedules, at Mercy.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or enrolled in a healthcare career program.
• Probationary period must be completed successfully.
• No active disciplinary actions or active improvement plans.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in acquisition of laboratory specimens for testing.
• Process, transport and refer all types of specimens and reports as required.
• Provide accurate, timely, and professional laboratory support.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and follow lab policies.
