• Master’s degree in closely related field is required.
• Minimum one year of post-secondary teaching experience in jewelry curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teaches and conveys knowledge of jewelry and metalsmithing courses at freshman, sophomore and advanced levels.
• Assists with curriculum development and revision and integrates subject area with related curricula.
• Oversees jewelry and related programs inclusive of jewelry manufacturing.
• Teaches content material using varied instructional methods to facilitate learning.
• Utilizes emerging technology and stays current on developments in the field.
