Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field or a Master’s with 18 graduate credits in related field
• At least 1 year full-time teaching experience or equivalent adjunct experience; higher ed teaching preferred
• Strong pedagogy background with ability to teach effectively across diverse settings
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned by the supervisor.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned to course objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi for courses.
• Assist in development of measurable course objectives and plans.
• Establish professional rapport with students and staff.
• Maintain accurate student records and course documentation.
• Be available for student consultations.
• Assist in student recruitment when appropriate.
• Assist in curriculum evaluation and assessment activities.
• Represent the college professionally in the community.
• Engage in ongoing professional development for credentialing.
