You will perform general cleaning, trash removal, restroom sanitation, floor care, and restock supplies while following safety procedures. Training is provided and a teamwork-focused environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Janitorial or custodial cleaning experience preferred, not required.
• Strong attention to detail and dependability.

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and custodial services throughout the facility.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Restock paper products, soap, and other janitorial supplies.
• Clean common areas and help maintain a professional appearance throughout the building.
• Follow all company safety procedures and site-specific instructions.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Complete additional cleaning duties as assigned.

Stathakis is seeking a dependable janitor/custodian for a full-time, on-site position in Detroit, MI. This role is ideal for someone who values cleanliness, consistency, teamwork and takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming facility environment. The positions are Morning & Evening shifts working 3 days on and 3 days off and pays $16.00 an hour from 7:00 am-5:30pm OR 5:00pm-3:30am.

Position Summary:

The Janitor/Custodian is responsible for performing general janitorial and custodial duties to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe facility. This role supports the day‑to‑day appearance and cleanliness of the building, including common areas, restrooms, floors, and other assigned spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing general cleaning and janitorial services throughout the facility
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
