Stathakis is seeking a dependable Janitorial Crew Leader for a part-time, on-site role in Novi, MI. The position runs Monday–Friday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour, and reports to the Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will supervise and train janitorial staff, ensure production areas and facilities stay clean, safe, and production-ready in a fast-paced industrial environment. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a lead role preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard communication, and safe chemical handling.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Part-Time Schedule.
• Training Provided and Paid Sick Days.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and lead janitorial staff
• Ensure cleanliness of production floors, restrooms, locker rooms, and office spaces
• Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and quality expectations
• Manage inventory of cleaning chemicals, PPE, and equipment; ensure proper storage and usage per SDS guidelines
• Maintain documentation for inspections, incident reports, staff attendance, and supply usage
• Collaborate with Ops Manager and safety teams to support operational efficiency and workplace safety

Position Summary:

The Janitorial crew lead oversees all cleaning and sanitation operations within a manufacturing plant. This role ensures the facility maintains cleanliness, safety, and production-support standards in a fast-paced, high-volume industrial environment. The position leads a team of janitorial staff, coordinates daily operations, and ensures compliance with OSHA requirements and industry expectations.
