Job summary

ConGlobal in Houston is hiring an Intermodal Equipment Operator to move shipping containers safely and efficiently within our intermodal yard. You will operate hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders as part of daily logistics operations.

Open availability, full-time, and competitive pay with benefits, including medical/dental/vision and a 401(k). Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass background and drug screening; safety, teamwork, and physical fitness are essential for

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in logistics or industrial settings.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, and cranes to move and stack containers.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections for safety.
• Coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
