Job summary

ConGlobal Industries LLC is seeking an Intermodal Equipment Operator to manage container movement in our busy intermodal yard. You will operate hostlers, cranes, top loaders and side loaders, ensuring safe, efficient handling of railcars and trucks.

We offer full-time hours, open availability, competitive hourly pay ($19.00–$22.00) and comprehensive benefits, including medical/dental/vision and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in logistics or industrial settings is preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Open availability for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs on railcars.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, and cranes to stack, move, and organize containers.
• Perform Groundman duties during training, assisting with railroad maintenance tasks.
• Conduct equipment inspections before and after use to ensure safety.
• Coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following protocols.
