Job summary

ConGlobal is hiring an Intermodal Equipment Operator to move shipping containers within our intermodal yard, operating hostlers, top loaders, and cranes. You will handle containers safely and coordinate with yard staff to keep freight moving on time.

Open availability including weekends and holidays is required. A valid driver’s license and successful background/physical/drug screening are mandatory. We offer paid training, competitive pay, excellent benefits, and long-term advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment in logistics/industrial settings.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/railcars safely.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screening.
• FRA requirements may apply for drug screening where applicable.
• Open availability for all shifts is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load/unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis in the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, and cranes to move and stack containers.
• Inspect equipment before and after use for safety.
• Coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures.
