Job summary

The Learning Experience Enfield in Enfield, CT is seeking a caring Teacher to join our infant classroom and help young children explore the world with our LEAP Curriculum. You will provide a safe, engaging environment, support families with daily updates and milestones, and work with a supportive team.

Requirements include at least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience with infants and an associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred; high school diploma

Qualifications

• 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience with infants (1 year preferred).
• Must meet CT state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants.

• A strong communication, organizational and classroom management
• Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
