Job summary

Britt Children’s Academy in Cocoa, FL seeks an Infant Teacher to create a nurturing classroom for infants 6 weeks to 12 months. You will implement age-appropriate activities and collaborate with families to support each child’s early development.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with pay of $14.50–$15.50 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include paid holidays, PTO, and TEACH Scholarship tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• FL DCF 45 hours required.

• CDA for infants and toddlers preferred.
• Must clear full DCF background check.
• 1–3 years of early childhood experience.
• Ability to write a lesson plan based on our curriculum "Beyond Learning".
• CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum for infants 6 weeks to 12 months.
• Lead age-appropriate activities to support growth.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and children.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom.
• Document progress and report to parents.
