Job summary

The Learning Experience Boynton Beach is hiring an Infant Teacher to provide safe, nurturing care for infants from 6 weeks to 12 months. You will support physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development while building strong relationships with families and adhering to licensing standards.

Responsibilities include implementing infant curriculum, documenting progress, and collaborating with a team. A High School Diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid certification are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Licensing requirements as mandated by state regulations.
• CDA, FCCPC, or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred.
• Previous experience with infants in licensed childcare preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with young children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and responsive care to infants throughout the day.
• Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities for infants.
• Follow individualized feeding, sleeping, and diapering schedules.
• Create a warm, loving, and secure classroom environment for learning.
• Supervise children at all times to ensure safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and sanitize materials.
• Follow health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Assist with classroom setup, routines, and transitions.
• Communicate with families daily and share progress.
• Observe and document developmental progress and participate in conferences.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and administration, attend trainings.
