Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking a full-time in-home veterinarian to serve Grand Rapids, MI, and surrounding areas. You’ll provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care, working in a mobile practice that values balance and meaningful family moments.

You’ll join a community of veterinarians, receive ongoing mentorship, and access a comprehensive onboarding program while enjoying opportunities for bonuses, 401k, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• DVM/BVMS/VMD license in good standing.
• Willing to work some weekends.
• Experience with in-home hospice and euthanasia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Work as a mobile in-home veterinarian delivering high-quality medical care.
• Engage with families and coordinate with Lap of Love mentors and team.

*Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Grand Rapids, MI, including Wyoming, Rockford, Ada, Kentwood, Caledonia, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidateswill be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
