Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Full-Time In-Home Veterinarian for Grand Rapids, MI, including Wyoming, Rockford, Ada, Kentwood, Caledonia, and surrounding areas. You’ll provide hospice and euthanasia care in clients’ homes as a mobile veterinarian, with a focus on balance, mentorship, and meaningful, flexible scheduling.

We offer onboarding, ongoing mentorship, a supportive Center, and opportunities across 3-, 4-, and 5-day full-time schedules.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes.
• Practice veterinary medicine in a mobile, in-home setting while maintaining professional fulfillment and personal balance.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Grand Rapids, MI, including Wyoming, Rockford, Ada, Kentwood, Caledonia, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule
