Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Tonawanda and nearby areas. You'll practice mobile veterinary medicine with a focus on hospice and compassionate euthanasia in clients' homes, while enjoying a cooperative team and strong patient-family relationships.

The role emphasizes flexible 2–5 day work weeks, meaningful patient time, and ongoing mentorship to help you grow professionally while maintaining life balance.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree is required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in home visits.
• Deliver professional veterinary care with a focus on client communication and support.
• Maintain high standards of in-home patient care and safety during visits.

*Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Tonawanda, North Tonawanda, Hamburg, Lancaster, Lockport, NY and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license

• Candidateswill be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
