Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking an in-home, Associate Veterinarian to deliver hospice and euthanasia care in Queens, Brooklyn, Crown Heights, Elmont, Ridgewood, and surrounding NY areas. This mobile role emphasizes work-life balance, professional fulfillment, and personal freedom while practicing independently.

The position offers ongoing training, mentorship, and access to a Support Center, with base compensation influenced by schedule structure (3-, 4-, or 5-day weeks) and additional bonus

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subjected to a background and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Operate as a mobile veterinarian visiting clients' homes across NY regions.
• Engage in ongoing mentorship and professional development within Lap of Love.

*Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Queens, Brooklyn, Crown Heights, Elmont, Ridgewood, NY and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $135,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $150,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
