Job summary

Bridgeways Everett in Everett, WA, seeks a full-time Social and Community Services Specialist to provide direct service to program recipients and perform administrative tasks to support housing program management funded by federal, state, local, and private sources.

The role promotes service delivery consistent with Bridgeways’ mission, licensure, contracts, and policies, while assisting housing placement, HMIS data entry, and coordination with community resources.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a social service or behavioral health setting serving adults with chronic mental illness.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal housing resources and homeless programs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA policies and procedures and confidentiality requirements.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, managed care requirements, and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social and community services to assist housing placement and stabilization for program participants.
• Complete day-to-day housing program tasks, including data entry into HMIS and documentation.
• Maintain an attendance record and adhere to scheduling based on client needs.
• Coordinate with landlords and community agencies to meet housing needs and promote tenancies.
• Represent Bridgeways at meetings and stay current on Shelter Plus Care program requirements.
