Job summary

FirstService Residential is hiring a Housekeeper/Janitor to perform cleaning and maintenance across indoor and outdoor areas. You will inspect work, report to the Supervisor, and ensure safe operation of equipment, while maintaining clean, sanitary facilities throughout the community.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, with multilingual ability considered a plus. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits and a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous custodial experience is preferred.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning/maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and restroom cleaning.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies and reports discrepancies.
• Maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA guidelines for hazardous chemicals.
• Removes trash and assists in emergency cleaning.
• Operates new equipment safely and follows procedures.
