Job summary

The Waters in Indiana is seeking a Full Time Housekeeping Aide to clean resident rooms and common areas, maintaining a safe, comfortable environment. Under the Director of Housekeeping, you will follow policies, assist the interdisciplinary team, and help ensure a welcoming facility for residents.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to read and follow directions, communicate in English, and work independently.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Capable of setting work priorities and working independently in the absence of supervision.
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, dining areas, bathrooms, and common spaces.
• Vacuum, wipe, mop, polish and maintain cleanliness according to schedule.
• Move and arrange residents' furniture and equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Follow weekly cleaning schedules and adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Support the interdisciplinary team and comply with all facility policies and procedures.
