Job summary

Williamsburg Landing, a CARF-accredited Life Plan Community, seeks a Full Time Housekeeper to join our Housekeeping Team. The ideal candidate must show initiative and good judgement and maintain positive interactions with residents, guests, and staff.

Starting pay is $17.00/hr, with hours 7am-3:30pm M-F and 6am-2:30pm weekends; one weekend per month is required. Benefits include Health, Dental & Vision Insurance, 403(b), and more.

Qualifications

• English communication skills required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and climb stairs.
• Virginia driver’s license with insurable record.
• Initiative and good judgement in interactions with residents, guests, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities in safe, sanitary, infection-free conditions by cleaning and disinfecting areas.
• Follow cleaning schedule and operate mechanized cleaning equipment.
• Clean floors using mops and disinfectants; respond to accidents.
• Dust and clean furnishings; polish and wipe surfaces; empty trash.
• Disinfect bathrooms, replenish supplies, and clean kitchens.
• Clean walls, windows, doors, and ceilings; clean entrances and utility rooms.
• Perform laundry duties in compliance with regulations.
