Job summary

RoseWood Village is seeking a dependable Full-Time Housekeeper to keep our senior living community clean, comfortable, and welcoming for residents and their families.

Responsibilities include cleaning vacant apartments for move-in, cleaning occupied units on a schedule, keeping common areas neat, and maintaining cleaning supplies.

Must be 18+, operate cleaning equipment safely, and pass a background check; the role is conducted in a drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals.
• Must pass Criminal Background Screening.
• Drug Free Workplace policy adherence.

RoseWood Village is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our senior living residents.

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in as well as to clean occupied apartments on a weekly basis or as scheduled, follow the cleaning schedule outlined for the cleaning of the common areas of the Community, and assure that the highest degree of cleanliness is always maintained.

Areas of Responsibility

• Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor. Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply. Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized. Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Should be familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace, associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred.
