Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a House Attendant (Full-Time) at the Pagoda Hotel in Honolulu, HI. The position offers a $300 sign-on bonus after 180 days of continuous employment and hourly pay.

You will help maintain cleanliness and order across assigned areas and assist with guest requests, deliveries, and express services. Responsibilities include floor maintenance, carpet and furniture care, luggage assistance, guest safety, emergency procedures, and equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo carpets in public areas.
• Shampoo furniture as needed.
• Assist guests with luggage in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Handle Lost and Found items according to hotel standards.
• Clean guestrooms as needed.
• Know and assist in emergency procedures.
• Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
