Job summary

ABL Health Care is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for Home Health in Alameda. The PTA will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and improve mobility and quality of life while collaborating with the clinical team in the field.

The role requires a California PTA license, at least one year in home health, and a valid CA driver’s license with regular travel within a 15–25 mile radius. The position includes comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Current California PTA license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of home health experience.
• Valid California driver’s license and ability to travel 15–25 miles regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services within the patient’s plan of care in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer treatments, monitor patient conditions and report changes to the physician or nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and submit documentation using company devices.
• Comply with all policies to ensure high standards of care.
