Professional Healthcare Resources in Lanham, MD seeks an Occupational Therapist for full-time, part-time or PRN roles serving the Washington, DC metro area. You will deliver OT services, document plans, educate patients and caregivers, and participate in quality assurance while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state(s) of operation; minimum two years of OT experience; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with the approved plan of treatment and plan of care.
• Observe and communicate patient progress, reactions, improvements, and changes to physician and agency staff at least every 60 days.
• Accurately and completely prepare all clinical documentation per agency policy.
• Instruct patient and caregiver in the use of equipment such as wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, prosthetics, and orthopedic devices.
• Participate in the agency’s quality assurance review and evaluations of occupational therapy services.
• Plan for discharge.
