Job summary

Riverside Health Care Facilities Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Health Care Aide/PSW for Rainycrest Long Term Care.

The role involves providing direct resident care under the supervision of nursing staff, following the resident care plan, and reporting changes in condition to a nurse. Qualifications include a PSW certificate or equivalent, asset education related to elder care, CPR as an asset, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• PSW or equivalent Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate/experience acceptable to the Employer.
• Education related to elderly care is an asset.

Responsibilities

Basic Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the direct care of the residents as indicated by the resident care plan under the supervision of registered staff. The HCA is responsible to report to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), any change in the resident’s condition. The HCA works as part of a multidisciplinary team.
