Job summary

The Courtyard by Marriott Lancaster, part of High Hotels, is seeking a friendly Guest Services Representative for approximately 3 shifts per week, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, including evenings, weekends and holidays. You will respond to guest needs, handle reservations, operate the front desk switchboard, and process transactions to ensure smooth arrivals and departures.

Starting pay is $15.41 per hour with a weekend shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong math, reading and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required.

As a Guest Services Representative for High Hotels LTD., you are required to positively represent the hotel to the guest by responding courteously and efficiently to guest needs, acting as a source of information about the hotel and local area, and assisting guests during arrivals and departure. You will also be responsible for operating the switchboard and handling departmental accounting and financial transactions as they relate to this position.

We are seeking a Part-Time team member with flexible availability to work approximately 3 shifts a week between 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays Required. Days will vary*

Weekends include a $1/hr. shift premium!

Starting Rate: $15.41/hr. Potential for increase is based on experience.

Areas Of Responsibility For Our Guest Services Representatives Include

• Responding to guest requests and inquiries.
• Taking, modifying, and canceling guest reservations.
• Communicating hotel facilities and services to all guests.

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred.
• The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong math, reading, and communication skills.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
