Job summary

Lodging Hospitality Management Corporation seeks a Server for ServerSheraton West Port Plaza in St. Louis, MO.

You will provide food and beverage service, take orders, deliver meals and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel restaurant environment. Responsibilities include greeting guests, using the POS system, upselling desserts and drinks, and handling cash or card transactions with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items.
• Ability to operate a keyboard to input Point of Sale procedures and close out the check.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly in a friendly, courteous manner using the guest's name.
• Take and record food and beverage orders accurately, conveying details to kitchen and bar.
• Upsell with knowledge of menu items and promotions.
• Deliver food promptly, ensuring hot items are hot and cold items are cold.
• Process payments accurately and provide correct guest checks.
