Job summary

Windsor Parke Golf Club in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a full-time, hourly Course Maintenance employee to join our Agronomy team. The role pays $18.00 per hour and includes a full benefits package with Medical, Dental and Vision coverage, Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay.

Must be available to work every other weekend. Duties include preparing the course for daily play, raking bunkers, mowing greens/tees/fairways/roughs, watering, mulching, edging, and operating light machinery.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Must be available to work every other weekend
• Assists with preparing the course for daily play
• Rake the bunkers
• Cut and trim golf course greens, tees, fairways and roughs
• Assists with watering the roughs
• Applies growth enhancers and disease control measures
• Cuts grass and trims weeds using hand mower or power driven mower
• Plants grass, trees, shrubs or flowers per design
• Applies mulch to designated areas
• Delivers drinking water on course
• Performs general labor and cleaning related to golf course maintenance equipment
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris
• Regular & reliable attendance

Education
