Customer Service
- Provides SMART customer service at all times through the execution of Lowe’s customer service policies, procedures, and programs.
- Seeks out customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
- Responds promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through store areas and projects when needed.
- Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers.
- Communicates information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
- Cross-trains in other store areas to enhance customer service delivery.
- Manages calls appropriately to meet customer and associate needs.
- Reviews schedules for proper coverage, assigning backups as necessary.
- Collaborates with the PRO team to maintain service expectations for Pro Fulfillment.
- Picks, stages, and verifies delivery, pro, installation, and pickup orders.
- Follows up with leadership if team member quality standards are not met.
- Monitors notifications to uphold customer service expectations during order processing.
In-Stock
- Uses Lowe’s systems to manage inventory, orders, and special requests.
- Conducts store walks to monitor fulfillment areas and inventory status.
- Provides updates on fulfillment area conditions via reports or communication channels.
- Acts as liaison between Pro and fulfillment departments to ensure timely order processing.
- Ensures timely picking and staging of all pro orders.
- Prepares, inspects, stages, and loads merchandise according to invoices or loading tickets, using power equipment when needed.
- Verifies product details match invoices and orders.
- Performs additional fulfillment tasks as needed, such as order audits and restocking.
Clean and Safe Stores
- Completes administrative tasks related to delivery and pickup, including audits and customer contact.
- Validates items during transport and ensures loads are safe and compliant with DOT regulations.
- Prepares the store for business by organizing merchandise and maintaining cleanliness.
- Detects security risks and reports them promptly.
- Maintains store safety and cleanliness standards, including hazard identification and safety reviews.
- Operates store equipment as required, obtaining necessary certifications for forklifts and other machinery.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
