Customer Service

1. Provides SMART customer service at all times through the execution of Lowe’s customer service policies, procedures, and programs.
2. Seeks out customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
3. Responds promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through store areas and projects when needed.
4. Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers.
5. Communicates information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
6. Cross-trains in other store areas to enhance customer service delivery.
7. Manages calls appropriately to meet customer and associate needs.
8. Reviews schedules for proper coverage, assigning backups as necessary.
9. Collaborates with the PRO team to maintain service expectations for Pro Fulfillment.
10. Picks, stages, and verifies delivery, pro, installation, and pickup orders.
11. Follows up with leadership if team member quality standards are not met.
12. Monitors notifications to uphold customer service expectations during order processing.

In-Stock

1. Uses Lowe’s systems to manage inventory, orders, and special requests.
2. Conducts store walks to monitor fulfillment areas and inventory status.
3. Provides updates on fulfillment area conditions via reports or communication channels.
4. Acts as liaison between Pro and fulfillment departments to ensure timely order processing.
5. Ensures timely picking and staging of all pro orders.
6. Prepares, inspects, stages, and loads merchandise according to invoices or loading tickets, using power equipment when needed.
7. Verifies product details match invoices and orders.
8. Performs additional fulfillment tasks as needed, such as order audits and restocking.

Clean and Safe Stores

1. Completes administrative tasks related to delivery and pickup, including audits and customer contact.
2. Validates items during transport and ensures loads are safe and compliant with DOT regulations.
3. Prepares the store for business by organizing merchandise and maintaining cleanliness.
4. Detects security risks and reports them promptly.
5. Maintains store safety and cleanliness standards, including hazard identification and safety reviews.
6. Operates store equipment as required, obtaining necessary certifications for forklifts and other machinery.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
