  • Answer and route incoming telephone calls; respond to patient inquiries with professionalism, courtesy, and discretion.
  • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up visits as directed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, perform chart filing, and protect patient confidentiality.
  • Collect and document patient intake information accurately.
  • Room patients efficiently, obtain and record vital signs, and prepare patients for provider visits.
  • Communicate physician orders, follow-up instructions, and next steps clearly and professionally to patients.

Position Overview

A private specialty medical practice is seeking a dependable, polished, and compassionate Full-Time Front Desk Medical Assistant to support both patient-facing administrative operations and clinical workflow in a weekday office setting. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys welcoming and assisting patients, maintaining an organized front office, and contributing to a smooth, efficient patient experience from check-in through follow-up.

The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for patients and providers. Responsibilities include front desk reception, appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, insurance and demographic verification, phone communication, chart filing, and light medical assistant support such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting intake information, and communicating physician orders. The ideal candidate is warm, detail-oriented, discreet, and able to balance excellent service with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications
