Overview

LearnWell is committed to changing the lives of students in the U.S. dealing with behavioral health issues. For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate into the classroom. Our network includes over 200 educators dedicated to making a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans and provide individualized assistance to students in a small classroom setting while they receive treatment.
• Regularly communicate student progress as needed and monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.
• Collaborate with treatment staff and support services to support student learning during behavioral health care.
• Work with class sizes ranging from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.
• Travel between Boonton, Passaic, Chester, and Parsippany, NJ as part of the role.

Position Details

The position is full-time for the school year in New Jersey.

Position entails a 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
