Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents for couples who are married for at least two years. The role covers supervision, household management, activities planning, devotions, and budget oversight within on-campus student homes.

Both spouses must be 27 or older, hold a valid U.S. driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, relocation assistance, and training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
