Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising 8-13 students and supporting their academic, emotional, and social development.

Two-person teams must be legally married for at least two years, both 27+, with a high school diploma or GED. Benefits include housing, meals, health coverage, retirement plans, relocation assistance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse role, legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
