Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising a group of 8–13 students and creating a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social development.

Compensation includes $46,917 per person plus full benefits with housing and meals; program offers relocation support and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the student home.
• Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
