Responsibilities

• Repair and test fire extinguishers in repair shop using hand tools and hydrostatic test equipment.
• Dismantle extinguishers and inspect tubing, horns, head gaskets, cutter discs and other parts for defects.
• Replace worn or damaged parts using hand tools.
• Clean extinguishers and recharge with materials as needed.
• Test extinguishers for conformity with legal specifications using hydrostatic test equipment.
