Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Full Time Kiosk Technician in the San Antonio, TX area.

You will begin your career with RDS as a Kiosk Technician, training on key duplicating, tag engraving kiosks, and third-party service. The territory includes over 70 kiosks, with approximately 40 hours per week. Compensation includes an hourly rate plus commission, with an estimated annual pay of $50,000. A car allowance and a corporate gas card for business miles will be provided. The route primarily covers San Antonio and surrounding cities within a 50-mile radius.

Job Description:

1. Serve as the primary contact at customer locations.
2. Restock kiosks, order products, perform cleaning, preventative maintenance, and respond to service and repair dispatches (typically 1-2 hours per machine, 1-2 times per month).
3. Maintain flexible scheduling for routine service calls; Saturday service may sometimes be required.
4. Respond to unscheduled service calls within four hours with an ETA; complete on-site visits within 24 hours.
5. This position is suitable for retired candidates with some technical experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Restock and perform routine service on kiosks based on demand or schedule.
2. Perform on-call repairs or adjustments when machines malfunction.
3. Install machines within the local area.
4. Monitor machines daily for issues, addressing connectivity or power problems by contacting stores.
5. Manage inventory for re-stocking machines in possession.
6. Conduct store meetings, interact with store management, and promote machines to enhance revenue.
7. Optimize machine locations, uptime, product mix, and store relationships to grow revenue.

Skills:

1. Basic troubleshooting, mechanical, and electro-mechanical skills.
2. Ability to follow written and oral instructions carefully.
3. Basic computer, spreadsheet, and email skills.

Additional Information:

Training specific to the kiosks will be provided. Reliable cell phone required (reimbursed).
