This Family Support Specialist / Case Manager position earns a competitive starting salary of $46,500-48,500 a year, with an additional stipend for on-call. HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING A DIFFERENCE:
Utilizing intervention to strengthen protective factors, the family support specialist performs home visits to mediate and support families in resolving conflicts. You monitor the safety of children in the home and during supervised family visitation. To enhance their capacity to care for their children, you support parents on increasing their parenting skills, advocacy skills and support networks. You also provide case management, including information about and referrals to additional resources or after-care services. With attention to detail, you keep up-to-date and accurate records. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST / CASE MANAGER
Bilingual candidates are needed for this position. There is an exceptional need for Spanish and Haitian Creole speaking professionals at this time. Experience in child welfare services and working with pregnant or parenting teens or young adults is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
