San Diego Miramar College is hiring a Full-Time Fire Academy Faculty Instructor to support our State Fire Training Accredited Fire Academy. This is an opportunity for an experienced fire service professional to train the next generation of firefighters and support academy operations.

The position offers a starting base salary of $8,849 per month plus excellent benefits and retirement; depending on workload, earnings could rise with additional responsibilities.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, 10-month faculty position; working in support of current Fire Academy Director – primary responsibility – fire academy teaching.
• Starting base salary listed at $8,849/month, plus excellent benefits and retirement
• Depending on workload and available assignments, total earnings could potentially increase significantly—possibly 80–100% above base salary for someone willing to take on substantial additional responsibilities.
