San Diego Miramar College is seeking a Fire Technology Contract Instructor within the School of Public Safety to serve as a 1.0 FTE faculty member under the AFT/College Faculty salary schedule. Hours are Monday through Friday, with schedule adjustments as needed to meet departmental needs.

Qualifikationen

• Effective teaching experience in Fire Technology/related field.
• Program coordination and administrative process experience.
• Experience forming/maintaining partnerships with fire service agencies or similar entities.
• Ability to mentor trainees and students.
• Credentials to administer State FF1 exam where applicable.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse student populations.
