St. Mary's Parish and Schools in Annapolis, MD seeks a dedicated Custodian to join the Facilities team. The role cleans church, parish office, and school facilities, with on-call availability for emergencies.

Reports to Facilities Manager and requires a valid MD driver’s license and vehicle for travel to campuses. The position is full-time with benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage, employer-paid life and disability insurance, and a 403(b) plan with employer contributions, plus

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Maryland driver’s license with no more than 3 points.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety standards for cleaning equipment/products preferred.
• Must read and follow directions of supervisor.
• Ability to climb stairs while carrying equipment and supplies.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in heat, cold, snow, and rain.

Responsabilités

• Clean church, parish office, community spaces, and school buildings.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors; replenish restroom supplies.
• Wash walls and windows; remove dust and debris as needed.
• Select equipment and materials for cleaning; replenish supplies as needed.
• Remove trash from buildings and grounds.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., replace filters and bulbs).
